Got the Goat some new shoes the other day. CCWs and a lot of the other brands new are way out of my price range. These came up on CL for a great price and couldn't pass them up!

Here's a comparison of the old and the new.

And here they are on all 4 corners.

The wheels are 18"x8" +45mm Motegi MR118. The tires are damn near brand new. They are 245/45zr18 Radar Dimax R8's. I've never heard of that brand, but these are only for street driving anyways and will do the job just fine.

Definitely an upgrade, they look good! and I can't stand the 17s no offense or anything.

I don't "love" the 17's but I don't hate them either. They get the job done. I'll be holding onto mine for winter use. I just put new A/S tires on them in December so getting rid of them would be a waste.

Reviving an old thread...

Alright fellas', I need some help. I've recently picked up some OEM 18"s. My predicament now is: Which wheels do I run? For more reference and better pictures of what I've currently got on it, see http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=441958&highlight=. Should I powder coat the 18"s black and run them, or keep them as is and continue with what I have? 3/4 are immaculate and 1 has very minor rash. It's not bad enough to really bother me, but I'll never be truly happy until all are "perfect". The only reason I'm thinking about powder coating is because the one needs re-finishing anyways.
Thoughts?

Thanks
Brandyn

yellow + black is a good combo. Nice.

Run the OEM 18's. Yellow is good with black. I think I'm going to have my 18's PC'd graphite.

The stockers look great black. One day when I stop being lazy I'm going to powder coat mine.

Of course it is! It's the fastest color combo, haven't you heard? Thanks!

Sounds like we're all in agreement.
I'll keep both and swap back and forth whenever I want a slightly different look.
Thanks for the input fellas'!
