Default Speed Inc 1579 HP Vid added

I took the car to Speed Inc today. We are heading to FL for the LSx race next week. I had to switch from a 3 bar map sensor to a 4 bar to get over 29 lbs of boost. These guys are getting crazy to keep up with!!!! lol So Jim had to rework the entire VE table.

We were having boost controller issues, we were going from commanded boost to base boost and back to commanded. Something electrical is going on, I will check it out tomorrow. We kept it on the safe side because of the boost issue @ 11.2-1. It made 1585 rwhp @ 27 or 28 lbs of boost, boost went down to 11 lbs after 6800 rpm. We wern't looking for numbers just getting the VE table close and we'll finish it in FL at the track. At least I can turn it up now past 29 lbs to run with these nuts!

FL should be fun!!!! Thanks again Jim, he was sick as a dog and stuck it out.

Did you ever get the converter re-done from the last race? I guess the map sensor and the converter is what was holding the big boost numbers back.

What does it get turned too normally rpm wise?

Are you using an AMS1000?

Yes it's a new converter. We just ran out of time, we could have turned it up but we got what we needed to done. Also the boost controller was acting up. The rest can be done at the track.

Where did the power peak at? Sounds like the converter is loose, higher boost may not help. What input is your converter?

Converter doesn't seem loose, it's a new PTC. I'm not sure on the converter or rpm. I didn't change anything with the engine so Jim was just rebuilding the VE table for the 4 bar. We didn't print out any dyno sheets.
