With 10:5:1 compression or a little higher what octane of pump gas do you use? Thanks

91-93 or better. The octane rating of a fuel (gasoline in this case) is an indication of how well it resists ignition under compression

Stock LS1/LS6 cars are all recommended 91 or higher. It then goes to a point of how much timing you are running, obviously if you run more and more it will detonate.

What is the underlying question of your question? (the reasoning you are thinking for asking your question)

It will perform best using 93 but 91 will work also.
