I was also one of the ones selected for one of these. I put down the 427 NA but was told I have till just after first of the week, and I can change it. Also can order the other 2 engines as an option.
Trying to convince the wife will also be a trick. If not... should be interesting what I do. Anyone interested in mine?

Its another $68K if you want the other 2 engines with the car!! Did you decide to do the build experience?

sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness, than permission. of course this is coming from a guy that doesn't have to account to a wife anymore........

doesn't anyone think it would be cheaper and possibly better to build your own?
or is it the fact that it is branded as a copo.
I guess what iam saying is you could buy the camaro body that they sell and go from there or even buy the v6 version and mod it from there.

You are paying for the nostalgia of the COPO name while getting a GM built race car. Extremely collectable.

You had to be on the mailing list at GM Performance following the car's progress from concept stage. When they called me, I was told that a 3rd party randomly drew the names from all that were on the lists. Kinda like winning the lotto then needing to win the lotto! :D

I had a 2010 2SS/RS in white. My G8 GT is white. My TBSS is white. Figured I would continue with the white theme.

Wow that's light! Any info on what they did to get the car down to that light? That's good weight for a decently stripped down 4th gen.

Please forgive me for asking a dumb question, but did they release the HP numbers for these engine choices yet?? I thought I read that the 427 would have 450hp..

I agree slayer, the car would have to sell for $150,000 to make any money on it after the interest is paid. Unless they pay cash but I doubt most people have that much laying around.
