Default 2 Questions: SLP resonator and Y Pipe

Hello:
I am a new owner of a 99 Trans AM. It has an SLP resonator or Bullet on it. I have attached a picture, but I do not know which one it is. The car is VERY loud in my opinion and I need to quiet it. If it's the resonator one, I'll try the bullet. If it's the bullet, I'll try a muffler of some sort.
Also:
There is a "kink" in the Y pipe. How much of a problem is this (if any)?
Thanks and looking forward to learning about this car.

If it's very loud it should be the LM1 which has a resonator. You might want the LM2 bullet muffler.

Default Thanks

I'm going to pull it off and look inside. I can't tell if it's 2.5 or 3' anyway, so If I buy another one, I'll need to know the size of the in/out. What about the bend/kink in the Y pipe? Do you think this is a problem?
