Generation IV External Engine - l92 victor jr.

Those of you that have the l92 vic. jr, did you open the mounting flange up to match a gasket.I'm going to use a plate on my vic. and notice the plate opening is wider in some areas and was wondering if it makes a difference.

I opened up the flange and I cut the injector bumps out since im carbed.
