Default headers/true duals - video inside

Well I got my headers & true dual 2.5 inch setup put on the OZ. I wanted to give props to the guy who's pictures I used to show my muffler guy what I wanted but I couldnt find his thread...but oh well. I went from stock manifolds to jet hot long tubes (off road versions). The true dual setup was custom fabbed by the muffler shop with an x pipe and single chamber flowmasters. I lost no ground clearance whatsoever over the stock setup. And for those of you who want to know I paid $197 for the exhaust setup not including the mufflers. This included flanges so i can take the system off, piping, x pipe, turndowns, and the welding.

I absolutely love the sound. It is not too loud that its obnoxious, but at the same time you can make sure people know you have a nice exhaust setup that is different from your typical run of the mill fbody. It has a slight bit of rasp when you push the gas hard and let off...but I really like it, as oppposed to 99% of other types of rasp I have heard. I hope to get up some pictures soon, just depends on when I can get a digital camera and get back under the car. The passenger side header has an exhaust leak , so Im a little pissed about that right now and Im waiting on Jet Hot to call me back about a replacement , but thats beside the point and you cant hear the leak in the video. Let me know what you guys think

I'll second that. The sound is clear w/ no distortions. Sounds sweet!

I was the guy filming. That car has the best sounding tone to it. I would definately recommend this set-up to anyone. I heard it once and I'm hooked! I'm goin' with the same set up this summer.

The LITTLE bit of rasp you have is nothing compared to the Borla rasp. I am seriously considering true duels. Can you send me pic that you used to show your guy? It sounds good!!!

When I went to the muffler shop they had a ton of x pipes laying around that they had made and they just test fit a few of them until they found one that they thought fit the best under the car.

Many thanks to DVST8OR for the excellent pics. My setup is exactly like his except for the mufflers.
