I think those heads only offer till 63cc check with TSP also, i believe with that cam you should have 64cc or more, not sure though.

Yeah thunder never replied to my emails. I went with 243's ported by AI. made 480 to the wheels. If you get just the head job its a amazing deal, I sent off my fast 92 as well

U will need to verify ptv with that cam no matter what. More than likely will need to cut valve relieves. Don't expect to just drop in as is

I believe with TSP 5.3 heads TSP can sink the valves deeper into the valve seat to gain move PTV.I would degree and double check clearances with a cam like that.

Call TSP, I'm sure they have dealt with that setup before. And they usually answer their phone.

In my opinion, that cam is too big for a stock long-block AND for an engine with the Stage 2.5 5.3's. The few we've had come through here that we got the chance to check PtoV clearance were VERY tight. If it were mine, I'd only run an aftermarket casting that had better than stock valve-drop.

well my current setup is a forged LME 370 with trex cam all stock top end. what do you suggest for heads? i only was thinking of the 5.3 stage 2.5 heads since they are a good price and flow well. I really didnt want to spend a lot of money on heads but my choices may be limited.

Aftermarket short-block changes everything! Most any aftermarket piston will have a valve relief in them so you can run much more aggressive combos with good clearance! Do you know the specs on those pistons or have the piston part number?
