Street Racing & Kill Stories - First kill for the spring!

So I was on my way to my dads house to pick up my lunati cam!!! Pick up and make a stop at the parts store, I park and this 09 gt with a saleen body kit and at least headers and exhaust pulls up and parks. We walk in, and he gets out first and waits in his car till I come up... I walk out and he fires it up LOL, so now I am like it's ON!

He waits till I get in and start my junk, and as we pull out of the lot onto the street, he guns it and I make chase. We even up and start to slow and both shift into first, 4 flowmasters screaming together... I give him the hit and he jumps half a car, but by the top of 1st I pull the half back fast, grab 2nd at 6,500 and start my pull... I walk away by about a car before the top of second and let off, he pulls next to me and gives me a thumbs up and took his death like a man, LOL.

To bad just not long ago going to dinner with my preg wife, a built 4th gen and. Cobra were rolling together. They were trying to get some but I was a no go, the wife would have a hart attack! So pissed man, that would have been fun!

It's still winter...

I dont think so, even if I loose I could care less. It's all in good fun for me anyway. My cam going in next week will make things a little better on my side anyway ;)

Cam is going in next weekend, should run strong! I did allot of homework, I bet I will be out running some of these other 5th gens with there donkey dick cams. LOL, track opens soon here so I am looking forward to some new times. Gonna be a bitch on stock rubber! I was wish I could have played with that cobra, last one I raced I edged out 2 out of 2... I been waiting to run into another one since then! Really bad timing, :cry:

Yep, 12.6s 112 with 113 being my best mph. That's with my ok driving too, this is my first stick car that I have been racing... Been racing stalled auto's in my oldsmobiles for a long time. But I am getting better and feel like I am learning my car pretty well. The cam should get me rolling pretty good, looking for mid 11s after I get some tires and axles, get the car setup good and working. That would at lest get me back to were I left off with my old car.

When you live in the Northern part of the country, salt free roads and mid 60s-70s=spring. I'll take mother nature deciding when spring starts over the guy making the calendar.

Nice Run OP. I gonna agree with you that its spring down south where I'm at it was high 70's today and sunny. Gonna be upper 70's and sunny till Monday of next week. Great T-top weather but my car is tore down for heads and lifter upgrade. I'm happy and sad at the same time...LOL

I've already busted out the cargo shorts haha it was 80* here Tuesday.

Time to start looking for trouble on weekends again with the car. Just ordered some new ET streets and found another pair of aluminum slotted mags to put them on so it's less obvious I'm rolling around on drag radials since the wheels will match.
