Fast billet rails,Front Injectors on both sides Leaking Just figured i would post seeing as i am done messing with it for the day. Everything is finally together on my fast 102/92 combo so i go to start it up today and when i turn the key to the on position i hear a fuel leak.
I get out and look, and both left and right side front injectors are leaking from the top where they go into the rails.(thank god not the rears) Now let me say this, when i got the rails the L shaped brackets that mount them to the manifold were not at 90* and i had to re-bend them so the injectors would sit in the rails correct.
with that said, do you guys think that i am just going to have to loosen up the rails from the manifold and re tighten them? pissed me off because i didnt have someone else to turn the key on while i mess with the rails to see where they need to sit at so the damn things dont leak. All the others are dry, i just think the way the rails are sitting are pulling the front of them up a little and un-seating the orings. end of rant, hopefully tomorrow i can get them fixed.

yea im pretty sure the o rings are fine, i havent pulled back of to check but they were new when i put them on. Just pissed me off because it was just me and i had to adjust them, go back in the car, cycle the key, then go back out to still see it leaking. Im just glad its the fronts. Like i said im pretty sure its the way the rails are mounted the damn stanchions were all bent crazy and i had to rebend them to 90* we will see when i get back out there was pissed because i wanted the car running by now been down for too long

Yea i agreee with you, those stainless metal brackets kinda suck. like i said i had to re bend mine they came jacked up from Fast. The way they cam, the top rear 2 injectors on both sides would not even seat in top of the rail. when i bent them i got them to seat all the way but now apparently the front 2 injectors on both sides are leaking

Well after messing around with the damn rails for about 3 hours got them to stop leaking had to put a washer under the rear brackets on both sides of the rear rails to raise the brackets up some. That was a pain in the ***. Then my gague was leaking had to tighten that, the damn thing is upside down now but it doesnt leak. Now, i just got to fix my over heating issue, but i think i have that solved, will find out tomorrow

yea those brackets are retarted. You think they would make a better product, the rails are nice. Those cheap brackets are a pain. for a little while i thought i might have to use adapters on my injectors as well, but when i pulled them all off again and realized that the injectors were bottomed out all the way in the rail and seated that it was just those stupid brackets. where you get the other brackets from?

Yea i know the old fast fuel rails for the 92 will not work on the 102, they have differnt bolt spacing. But like i said i got mine to work after messing with them for 3 hours and having fuel go everywhere and having to put washers under the brackets as spacers on both rear rail mounts. Then my damn pressure gauge was leaking, i tightend it and got it to stop, but the damn thing is upside down now lol. But otherwise no more fuel leaks

For anyone searching how to fix a fuel leak with a 102, I was having the same problem, you have to use the fat o-rings on the bottom of the injector if you are using LS1/LS6 style injectors. LS2 injectors are larger in diameter and the FAST 102 is designed to work with LS2 injectors
