I'm putting in the 231 237 TSP cam. Just wondering if any one has installed this cam adv or ret. If so what the outcome was. Figured I'd check now rather than kicking my self later.
Which way would net me more mph. Which way would net more torque and which way more HP.
Thanks Rob

The 231/237 comes with two degrees ground into it for a 110icl. You CANNOT advance it anymore without flycutting. The P/V clearance is at the minimum the way it comes ground. But, if you had flycut pistons.. I think it would work great advanced 2 more degrees for a 108ICL

Gomer I have an ARE Street Short Block. It has the Ross Flat tops with large valve reliefs in them. I am running PP 5.3 with nothing taken off. I should be ok on clearance.
What do you think it would do to drivabilty if anything?
Thanks
