Default Got new tranny, drove home, now no starter... Have power, no click???

Just got the car back after new trans/stall... drove home... put about 12 miles on it since then. moved it earlier so kids could play basketball in the driveway.. I go to put it back and it will not start... car has power, all accessories work.. everything works.. but when I try to start it, no starter engagement, click, sound.. nothing.. The relay in the box is clicking and fuse is not blown... wtf happened? this car has NEVER not started. I hooked it up to my Envoy and let it sit for 20 mins or so but same result... any ideas? I did have a lot of work done so Im sure they did something goofy with the wire to the starter...

From the sound of it, no clicking means your seloniod (sp) isn't engaging...check for good connections and I would give it another try. If it still doesn't crank, you could try the ol' jumping the starter with a screwdriver...or get it tested lol.

Yea... Ill have to get under it tomorrow... I just paid to have a lot of work done... Normally I do all my own repairs but I just didnt have the time and the labor price was really good... Im so pissed at myself for not doing my own repairs.. I know its probably something small/stupid... Im just agitated because I actually pay for labor and now this.... I am not happy...

Like they say: "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

It's probably just a loose wire on the starter or maybe the noid might be hung up.

They had that saying posted up in a tattoo shop I went to a long time ago. Very true.
