I took my T/A to the dyno today at Performance Autosport and had it tuned by Frost. As always he did a great job getting it dialed in. Power surpassed both of our expectations on a dyno that is know to be conservative. I will post the graph when I get home from work.
Final numbers were 446/406
Mods are as follows
stock shortblock with 57k
Vengeance racing VRX5 cam
LS6 heads from an 03 Z06 milled .030, valve job, slight port work by myself
TSP 1 7/8 headers and Y-pipe
SLP Loudmouth exhaust
stock LS6 intake with BBK 80mm TB
FTP 85mm lid and 85mm MAF
UDP
Stock 10 bolt 3.42 gears
The stock clutch started slipping on the dyno and will be replaced soon. Stock fuel system was maxed out at 6600rpm also. Overall I am very pleased with the results. The car pulls hard and drives great for having a fairly large cam. Big thanks to Steve for getting it dialed in.

Thanks. That is what Steve and I were thinking between 420-430. We were both surprised and very pleased with the results.

Drivability is great for this size cam with stock gears. Its really all in the tune. I dont have any MPG info yet. After I burn through this tank of gas Im going to try and take it easy next tank and see what it can do. It should be able to do in the mid 20's on the highway.

Impressive numbers. If you don't mind my asking, what were the TQ numbers at 3,000 and 3,500 rpm?
I have a similar setup (in terms of it being a streetable combination without going crazy with a huge cam) and for a long time debated on going with the VRX5. Looks almost exactly where I would've expected....great power, yet still over 400 in the peak TQ department on stock cubes.

Must be one of the best VRX5 I've seen here. I search a bit about this cam, and theres not too many near that with your mods. Even some LS2 based VRX5 are not getting those numbers...congrats!

With tfs 220's and a fast 90/90 I put down 456 and 405? It is an awesome cam and turns into a beast at like 4k I was very happy with mine.
So good numbers regardless. So congrats OP

My scanner is not cooperating so I am having some difficulties getting the graph posted but the torque is just under 350 at 3000 and about 370 at 3500. It is definitely a strong performer. It pulls strong through the entire range but really comes alive at 3500. I had the VRX3 in my old Z28 and it performed great as well. It made right at 400rwhp cam only.

Love the LG cams. You planning any track visits soon? Exhaust clips? and hope your scanner issues get fixed soon; Would love to look at the graph.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you didn't have much of the power down low trade off to make power up high. Awesome numbers.

Not an LG cam. They are G series. Ie. G5X3 etc. Vengance Racing has the VRX series. I think they are both ground by comp on XE-R lobes though.

Wow, I completely overlooked that. That's what I get for skimming and posting from work, I guess. Thanks for the correction.
Interested in the data even more now.
