Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - Vortec 454 Heads and Cam

I'm looking for a good set of square-port heads and a cam for my Vortec 454 powered Silverado 1500. I was just planning on just a K&N Intake, Hooker Headers with full exhaust, tuning, a shift kit and removing all of the emissions equipment but I have decided to throw on some heads and a cam too. I'm also planning on swapping out the intake manifold with something like an Edelbrock PRO-FLO XT that will flow better, place the throttle body in front of the engine and also convert to square-port heads. The truck is mainly a cruiser/weekend warrior but will rarely tow my WS.6. So, what would you guys suggest?

well first off you have to find a set of heads with a 100 cc chambers so you can continue running the 9-1 compression. What is also nice about these motors is you can convert them to run on a ls1 pcm or newer truck pcm if you want. what sad was a guy was selling a complete motor on ebay with the pro flo aready on it
