Hey guys I have a question, I'm putting a new motor and a F1 Procharger on my 02 SS. I have a 15x10 rear rim and 15x3.75 front, what tire combo would handle that kinda power? I'd like to try and find something i can drive to the track with so I don't have to change them once there. thanks in advance.
im on stock shocks and springs for now but plan on strange sa front and da rears with bmr lowering springs soon to be added...

I guessing your shooting for the 800rwhp mark?

I'm pretty sure your gunna need a lot more than just some shocks with that kind of power.

But a 28x10.50 slick will handle it with some suspension. But its worth a shot! You probably won't hook it on a radial at all w/out some good suspension parts under the car. But get ya an anti roll bar, good torque arm, phb and some lcas with double adjustable shocks all the way around and get it scaled and you should be able to stick it.

We are doing very well at over 1000 RWHP on a 275 Hoosier radial. Give us a call and we can talk about your setup.

^^ I kind of forgot to add that with a good suspension he can make the car work on radials no problem.

275/60 Hoosier Drag Radial or 315/60 Drag Radial, but it might be hard for you to fit a almost 30" tire which the 315/60 is 29" tall IIRC. The 275/60 is 28" tall.

But without at least a DA shock in the rear and a SA up front you will never be able to hook that kind of power without them and really needs a double adjustable up front. If not you will be pulling so much power out of the launch it will not only be a dog, but it will never run what it should.
