Default Vacuum pump question

I've been needing to install a vacuump pump kit on my 240, rings are gapped for nitrous and creates quite a bit of blowby, saw the gzmotorsports vacuum pump kit, don't mind paying the 800 bucks for it, but I've got a bunch of electric air pumps laying around at the shop, wondering with a valve to keep vacuum to around 11 inch lbs, would this be something that would work or pointless, can't think of any reasons not to use the electric pumps, they're all of 07 and up Toyota Tundra secondary air pumps.
