User Support & Resources - Name difference question (not name change)

I log in and see my name as z-maro, however when people quote my posts it shows up as z-camaro. Just wondering if there is any way to fix that, and what my name appears as to others? (just to clarify I would like people to see z-maro)

I'll have to look more into it. There is a filter installed, at the request of members some time ago, that requested the shortening of the word Camaro (such as your username suggests) be disallowed or auto corrected and so that's why it's doing this as it's rewriting the word in the posts.

Your name shows up correctly, even though Autocorrect suggests that it might not.

It's only altering/correcting the word in the message area. Your username, to the left of your posts, is not altered.
