Default Dyno and tune by Pat G

Well Monday, we got the car tuned by Patrick Guerra down in Victoria. First off I would like to say what a nice guy and very knowledgeable. He spent almost 5 hours messing with the tune making sure everything was right. I was very curious to see what he was doing and how the changes effected how it would run. He showed and explained everything I was curious about. I don't know of many tuners that are that friendly and willing to help show you what they're doing. We trailered the car there and as soon as we rolled it off he got started. He did a cold start tune, street and driveability tune, and the WOT tune. Most of his time was spent on driveability(mostly dyno, but a little bit of neighborhood cruising also) and street manners. Apparently my computer had some wacky stuff going on with it, but it all got corrected. I could go on and on, but all in all we had a great experience and I will highly recommend him. I'm in Houston so he's a little over 2 hours away from me, but worth the drive.

I also have the dyno graph to show. These new Patriot Predator heads are a great buy. Keep in mind there rated as a 205cc head and my cam is a Bullet grind 226/230 on a 112. I also have Pacesetter LT's, Scorpion 1.7s, LS6 intake, Mark Shaner ported throttle body, and a stock LS2 short block.

Just wanna say thanks to Pat G, Kurt from Bullet, and Steven from Patriot Performance. All these folks were very helpful with my purchases and questions I had. With there help I now have a great setup for my daily driver. Would recommend them any day.

Torque curve looks nice and the power carries out nicely up top. I'll be down in Houston soon (lived there almost 20 years) I might stop in and see if Pat will do some tweaking to my tune while I'm down for a visit. Was it hard to get an appointment?

01ss, it wasn't hard at all. I just called a couple weeks in advance to let him know what I was wanting to do and get appropriate times he was available and went from there.

Thanks Zach. Your Camaro is one of the cleanest 99s still on the road and drives great! I appreciate the props.

98z and Pat, thanks....Trent, you have no idea how fun it is now. The car is smooth as butter and pulls like a freight train.

As soon as I get Pat's number I will be getting a cam from him and having him tune it...all these testimonials make it hard to go anywhere else!

Very nice numbers and power curves, especially with "budget" heads.

I say budget because I thought they were on the lower end of the spectrum power wise (compared to other ported 243/LS6 heads) but damn they cost as much as a 226cc AI porting and also as much as some aftermarket TFS220s...
