Hopefully, the mods will move this post to the appropriate forum (conversions and hybrids) where it'll get more exposure...

I'm running an LS3 in our Monaro that originally was equipped with an LS1. In my case I reused the LS1 harmonic balancer and water pump as well.
Good luck.

Running a L92 6.2 with 5.3 heads, f-body accessories, LS6 intake.
Timing cover is for LS2 as is the valley cover. Knock sensors relocated to side, some harness extensions. For the most part they transfer over.

All f body accessories will fly.all corvette will also
They each have there own belt line. Truck belt line sticks out farthest from front of engine. Then fbody. Then vette. Each balancer and accessories specific.
Gto is also the same as fbody. I'm running a Gto balancer alper motors parts alt bracket setup 3 bolt setup. Camaro waterpump with alper motors ports adjustable tensioner idlers and pulley covers. I got just over 500 in it and it looks way cooler he did a custom pwr steering bracket and even put my logo in it ball milled. He's a knowledgable cat who bs 'd with me about my setup and fielded every question I asked. The parts they build go into sandrail ls powered rigs. So the stuff is built to hold together.hes on eBay too 702 327 9907
