Default Who has put a Walbro in a 99 without cutting the bucket?

So I bought a pump from Sho Me Speed. He sent me the wrong install kit with the pump. He next day aired me the correct one, which I thought would be correct and it just doesnt make sense. The kit is for the pump style without the bucket.

Has anyone run a walbro with the bucket style without cutting it up?

The Racetronix is the way to go. If your pump does not have the venturi nipple you are going about it the wrong way. No use rigging up something as important as a fuel system to save $30.

I'm not exactly sure what the OP is asking. Can you post what you have?

Here is what I had, I actually sent it back and bought the one Lonnie is talking about.
It basically did not have the brass fitting on the top of the pump. So without this, there is no way to keep the bucket full, you have to cut the bottom out of the bucket to keep fuel in it.

My 99 did not require me to cut the bucket, but under load as the rpm increased the fuel pressure slowly dropped as the bucket emptied and didnt refill quick enough. I'm going about a dual 255 and cutting the bucket with my new build.

Did you have a racetronix kit with the smaller hose connection that went to the bottom of the bucket? What kit did you have if you didnt have the racetronix?
