I need a clarification on the kooks header pricing
- Kooks price, 98-00 camaro LS1 headers (from their website):

1998-1999 (Camaro LS1) - Comes with Air Fittings and EGR With Weld on Collectors
Item Details:
1 3/4" x 3"
Part Category: ---- CAMARO
KOOKS Part # 6500
Sold As: Pair
KOOKS Price: $ 589.9

Item Details:
1 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 3"
KOOKS Part # 6501-1
Sold As: Pair
KOOKS Price: $ 699.9

and similar for other varieties ($589.99 for regular and $699 for stepped headers). Now I assume those are stainless headers and when I get a GP price - those are the headers I'd get. Now, let's just say that GP price I was quoted for the headers alone is MORE than kooks regular prices. What's the deal? Based on the regular pricing, I would expect GP price for 1 3/4" x 3" headers to be no more than $550. Am I missing something? Are those on the website coated and stainless have to be special ordered? I'm confused.
Also, website has no regular pricing for the catted y-pipe. What is it?
Thanks for clarification.

I just spoke to Kook's who will be changing the website to specify if the pricing is Mild Steel, Stainless or Coated. We also have many sets in stock of all sizes for all GM cars.
