North Star Dragway GTG tonight and launch of Race Slip I posted earlier this week about a new social networking website for drag racers... www.raceslip.com
Tonight, there's a GTG up past Denton at the North Star Dragway. Sign up at the website (it's free) so you can register your car then come out and race. It will send you a text immediately after your run with your et, mph, reaction time, 60' time, etc... It then uploads that data to the website and is saved so you and your friends can see all the passes you've made, set up virtual or head's up races, etc... Pretty cool stuff. Here is a message below from the owners of raceslip. Hope many can come out and give this a try!
The Raceslip team is planning to make a trip to North Star Dragway in Denton this Thursday, March 15. We are committed to helping everyone get up to speed with Raceslip as fast as possible. So come on out to North Star Dragway this Thursday night from 6:30-10:30pm. Sign up, ask questions, meet the team, and then test Raceslip out on the track. It's free to get in and $10 if you decide to race. Please be sure to come by and let us know what you think. We will be at the front of the stands in the True Street Motorsports trailer. Please go to the bottom of the website and read the FAQ to learn how to check-in once you get to the track.

I was at north star tonight. The system worked flawlessly. I was very impressed with how fast it worked. Had the text message before I could even make the turn around. Great Jobs raceslip!!!

Now Burt aka The Supra, you know i would have loved to rival you with my sweet 8.6 at 90 mph aka (comeback kid/Clinton) SS but I chose not to drive 21 hours back to TX for said event.
Looks like all had a blast, system worked well and more to be had coming up. Ennis and Red Line go online here shortly...hopefully Kennedale before too long if they get their act together!
