Default LQ9,LS3 Top End,GT47 80mm turbo build

Finally got most of the main parts to start the build , thought was going to take longer but just last week bught my cam and a turbo kit off a friend who also had it on his fbod. Build is a fresh LQ9 short block , LS3 heads and intake , custom single turbo kit ( that keeps a/c) ,GT47 80 MM turbo and stage 2 Vengeance cam. Im still missing little thinngs like gaskets and bolts which ill order it next week. Here a few pics of the parts , what yah think about the build and numbers wise? I have seen a few people get Easy 750rwhp on like 6-10lbs of boost with this some what exact set up.

thats the whole LQ9 long block lol but thats the only pic i had of it so i posted it , I have the LS3 heads and intake also.

I want to do 15lbs of boost but idk how safe that is lol i know it should give me 800/800 like u want. As soon as the gaskets and bolts is ordered going to rush deliver it and then give it a week or so to put everything together and then when ever i can get a tune on it. Thanks man I try to take care of it , still original paint its a 2000 Z28, real clean.

If its a lq9 and unmilled ls3 heads he should be around the 10 to 1 range. My 370 with lsa heads is around 10 to 1. It should run good out of boost.

That link is to my build thread on YB. I started one here too but only got a handfull of responses.

Mine made 560 on 3.9psi
870 on 14psi
and 963 on 17psi.

we stopped there because of the stock bottom end lol.

Dude I been trying to register on yb but they disable it. Bad *** car, do you have any videos of it doing hits on the street out track. I got the same turbo as u lol. My goal is to get over 800 for sure, but on pump gas 93. We thinking of doing twin 255 in a surge tank and 80lb injectors. What you think?

It may be tough on 93. I am running e85 with 3 walbro 255's and 160lb injectors.

Did you get the Batmo wheel 80? It's a bad little turbo for sure.

I dont have any vids of it other than on the dyno right now. I am going to be running it on April 1st at the track. We are hoping to get some decent ttimes out of it...

I got this from a friend, he the one who sent me the link to.ur.build and was like he.net same turbo as the one we.using on ur car. He did say he changed the cover to the 88 race cover. Well I'll see how much I can get out if it with the twin Elbrus and pump gas. Only Kroger Carries e85 down here in Houston and they are a good ways away the ones that do.
