I dont know how big of an oil cooler to run, Im almost done installing my new set up (see Sig) and I know I want to run an oil cooler because we know Ls3's run a lil hot. But Im not sure how big of oil cooler should I use? I ordered the improved racing slim oil cooler adapter and will be getting the thermostat as well, It will see mostly street time and Its only out in the summer here in Chicago. I would appreciate it if you would chime in and tell me about your set up and if possible post up some pics of your set up as well.

Thanks

Setrab makes an excellent oil cooler. I'm going to put one of those on my GTO along with one of these as a by pass for the winter months.

The large B&M with the built in fan and T-stat. Temps run from 180- 230 in the TX heat.

I run a SETRAB oil cooler:

With a MOCAL oil thermostat to keep the oil above 185 degrees F:

Got a 40 row Setrab from fleabay for $300 shipped. Temps on stroked 402 went fron 300+ to 254 max at the track. Tstat is a must. They may still have some.
