have a chance to get a used victor intake(carbed) have to get a msd box. was wondering if able to use stock harness and take out some wires or better off buying new intake, module and harness combo?

You talking about the MSD-6010/6012? That comes with it's own harness that uses only the cam and crank sensors plus the coil packs and they're made for swaps into earlier cars. If you're trying to put this (carb setup) in a later FI car, you'll be giving up all your gauges, trans. etc.

The required harness will come with the box if you buy it ANYWHERE else. Don't buy from that ebay seller if it's seperate. The 60101 harness is an extension harness and not the one that comes with the box to connect to the sensors and coils.
