What's involved in making a 98 lid work on an 02?

Default What's involved in making a 98 lid work on an 02?

Is there anything involved switching between the 2?

install a breather filter on the 2002 car.

the 98 lid, will work on all 98-2002 cars. You just need a breather filter for the 2000-2002 cars,

the only lid that is different is the slp one, as they pipe the air pump to the aftermarket lid, the rest, just replace it with a breather filter.

Yup. All the lids are the same. Just need the little filter.

What's the purpose of this tube needing a breather filter?

Air pump. The older cars had issues with getting mositure build up, causing pump failure, so they routed the tube up to the airbox.
