New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Thinking about sellin my cammed 96 ta for gto!

I have a 1996 ta that's cammed and full bolts on haven't it dyno'd but pry out down 360 or a little more but considering selling it to buy a 04 gto for 8995 with 68000 miles an it's a 6 speed was wondering what u ls1 guys think will I be happy with hp or performance wise compared to my lt1

The gto could make 360 with bolt-ons. It would come down to personal preference but I would do it.

it's preference really. personally i'd never buy an '04 GTO. they're good cars but i couldn't have the only year of 3 that had an ls1 instead of an ls2. but i would rather have an '04 6 speed gto over an auto lt1. just personal opinion. it sounds like a good deal though givin the miles. as long as it's in good shape.

id get an 05-06 but ls1 GTOs are still nice and can make killer power.


i cant say enough how much of a pleasure they are to drive everyday.
