Northwest Members - 3rd Annual Crater Lake Cruise

There are a lot of different things going on the weekend I want to do the cruise this year. I'm going to put out two different options, if you want to go and plan on making it pick which option is best for you.

Option #1
People from Washington come down and spend the night in Eugene/Springfield or can probably stay at 98goldz28's (http://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=67475) place or hotel in Florence on Saturday July 21st. Do the entire cruise in one day on Sunday leaving pretty early in the morning Sunday to make it to Crater Lake at a decent hour. Cruise would be completed Sunday the 22nd.

Option #2
This second option would be just like last year. We meet on Saturday July 21st in Springfield at the Best Buy and drive to Klamath Falls, stay the night, cruise to Crater Lake then dispurse at the junction going to Roseburg/Medford.

98goldz28 and I are going to head down to Cali after Crater Lake and go to Disneyland for a few days. Anyone that wants to continue down to Anaheim is more than welcome to go.

If you have any other suggestion please let me know.

Only reason for not going to Klamath Falls on Saturday is I have a party to go to but if I can't make it oh well. I would like to see more GM powered cars there this year...:lol:

Yeah, more LSx cars! Its sad that there were more non-LSx cars at a LSx cruise!

I'm down for the ride. I would want to leave on a Saturday and party it up in K Falls and then head to the lake on Sunday. A one day shot seems to short. Plus Jeremy really wants to take part in another pizza eating contest! :)

sorry guys Car club challenge is july 21st (plus my sons 18th birthday even though he should be in boot camp for it)
& that weekend is also the McChord Air show which my husband has to work on sunday. so we are out

Well i managed to stumble across some of your cruise picture's on "Google Images". I'm just curious if you guy's plan on doing this trip sometime here in 2012? My GF and I were looking to perhaps making a visit to crater lake & would be awesome to have a cool bunch of people to tag along with **cough**even though i drive a FORD =] **cough**

side note: I have a few buddy's with some LS powered cars who might be game for this.

depends on how things go after my swap. if i have some miles on it, then ill tag along. if its still fresh, most likely not
