Hi,
Does anyone know the stretch bolt tolerances on a LS2?
Long story short I was let down on getting new ones and need the heads on this weekend.

Thanks!

I think OP is referring to torque-to-yield? Those are single use as far as i know...

it seems like you're talking about reusing headbolts which is a big NO-NO. Most autoparts stores stock the fel-pro replacements so just go there and pick up 2 sets for 25 bucks a piece.

Unfortunately in the UK no autopart company stores headbolts for LS2's, The engine has only done 28k miles, but i'm going to have to reuse them for mapping on thursday and just replace them when i can get them!

Get ARP's, or a Vauxhaul dealer might have the factory set for the Holdens sold under Vauxhaul badge. Though price will hurt, better than snapping a TTY and having to get it out later.

The bolts will not likely snap. They will just not clamp correctly.

What about using head studs from Alper Motorsports, I think they are the same price as the stock bolts, that is what I have used in the past,

The thread is almost a year old. Hopefully he has it taken care of by now ;)

If not I have shipped to Canada, I think to ship a set of studs would be around $16.00 for flat rate
