$149.95

LPE has developed this CNC machined EGR adapter block to allow you to install a 2001 LS6 intake on the 1998-2000 LS1. This block is made from the same type of material as the OE intake manifold and is easy to install. Includes special adhesive and instructions.

looks like you could cut out a section from a stock intake, and have someone plastic weld it into a ls6......

Wow, this thing has really increased in price over the last two years. I paid ~$85 for mine from LPE in 2002. It was nicely done and fit well.

We used mine a little differently than intended. Just tacked in in place hooked up the EGR for the stock LS1 intake look used a block off plate and took care of EGR with tuning. No worries about leaks or risk damaging an LS6 intake drilling for the adapter.

Sounds like their is finally a use for LS1 intakes...cut the EGR adapter out...it will sell for more than the LS1 intake

Lol!

Do you have any pics of the block off idea? That sounds like a great solution if you have edit.

so you say you block off EGR, using this and a blockoff plate, and made it so it looked like there was still EGR for a visual inspection???

Angst911,

Yes, that is exactly what we did. I've had folks say, hey you need to get an LS6 intake when the look at the engine. I'll take a few pictures of the set up this weekend and post them in the thread.

ummm..

That might be the ticket.

I will be getting hp tuners later so the code is not a problem.

the "oem apprearance" is the key though

(but that will go out the window, when the blower goes on )

Ryan.
