Drag Racing Tech - snell m2000 helmet

i am borrowing a snell m2000 rated helmet, is it still good? im confused if is it good all the way through 2012 or is it expired

according to this its expired :(

It expired in January, for NHRA helmets are good for 12 years and expire in January of the 12th year.

yes its no good any more and if you go faster then 11.50 it needs to be a snell sa helmet too

Oh ya I forgot about that. Last year at the heads up events, with real tech they check inside the helmet and noted it was the last year for the old snell 2000, next year (this) you need to have a current rating. snell 200 A my local track has never checked, if your going somewhere that dose you need the current 2012+

Im pretty sure the SA SNELL rating is only for open bodied nitrous or boosted cars or funny cars. Then youll Need the SA rating. It must be full face if your running faster the 9.99ET tho.

I just purchased a HJC CL-16 off flea bay for a little over a $100. Should be good go awhile SNELL 2010 rating
