Is this an ls2 or ls3 car? I pulled a modded one from a roll, mostly due to drive error but i pulled him 3 times.

Both cars were on street tires and it's a LS2. I was pretty suprised.

Very overrated cuz of ohio. You know he was surprised when he seen it loose. He has it blocked from his mind by now and is back in his happy place where mustangs never loose!

They are hard to launch on street tires. See it all time really. Hell see few guys on slicks that have had an issue. Plus one shown only makes 500hp and weighs a out 3900+ lbs. I raced a stock one in my manual car and walked it. I had tune gears cold air x pipe and suspension. Guy was pissed cause he just bought it.


Not sure believe vette on street tires was no spin and that burn out.

I agree ohio, gt500s are pretty shitty.

If you walked one in your manual car then I would flat out obliterate one.......I'm goin with overated now.

The 2013 GT500 will now incorporate a pretty sophisticated traction control. It is supposed to vary like 5 different systems in order control traction and with an adjustable 2-step. I think Ford realized also that putting this much power in a car with no traction is pretty ridiculous. I will be really interested in seeing how the new GT500 will fare against other cars now with this modification.
If it still loses to everything after that, then I will agree that it is overated.

My friend just bought a gt500 it's a 09 with 12kmiles on it. He got beat from a roll by a ls2 vette I/E and a tune. Not sure if that helps

i drove an 08 gt 500 and to me it was really easy to drive. Very overated to say the least, does not at all feel like a 500hp car. Gearing to me is too wide and too much weight. Felt more like a 400hp car, definitly some LS2 vettes ive driven stock are more impressive. Dont wanna trash on a Gt500 because they can be made to go fast and they look hella cool but no suprise at all with the outcome.
