Default No cats and cutout or no muffler out the back

Sorry for the confusing title. Right now I have an ORY back into a cutout and through a flowmaster 80 in the rear. The cutout is never closed though. I love the sound except the cutout is constantly rattling for some reason and I am kinda getting sick of it being right under me. My change rattles big time in my car.

Would putting pipe back where the cutout was and having a merge from the i pipe out the back of both tips sound any different? Or has anyone heard this setup? I wouldnt mind if it sounded the same. Just want it to be more quiet inside the car.

If that was confusing, what I meant was... Has anyone heard or drove a ls1 with essentially a catback without the muffler, just a pipe in place of where the muffler goes. Oh and no cats.

It will probably sound like mine, although I have no ORY. Stock manifolds, no cats, stock y pipe LM1.
