Lock timing on HEI dist Im running a stock HEI dist on a blow thru turbo setup and now that everything is put together I need to set the timing. I was told by CSU to lock the time by welding the sliding plates inside the dist. under the cap. I know what the sliding plates are, but I was wondering do I lock them as it is or do I turn them to the position as if it would when opened.
