Default How is the LS1 crank balanced?

Is the crank balanced on its' own at the factory, or is the crank balanced with the rotating assy?
There is a similar question going on in the INTERNAL section, but that doesn't answer my question.
Thanks.

the crank is balanced on its own, balanced to itself so that rotation occurs without wobble when nothing else is involved...

then further balancing of the individual rods and pistons can happen after that.

Thanks. This is just what I needed.
Although there might be an overall balancing, later, all of my other components weigh exactly the same.
You've just saved me $325...not to mention lugging the engine around.
Come by on the tour bus, I'll buy the beer!
