Camaro LS3 exhaust manifolds with 5.3 in S10?
i am going to start a 5.3/4L60e swap into a '89 regular cab short bed 2wd S10 with-in the next month. i have been looking around at exhaust options and i found a couple pics of the LS3 Manifold used on the new Camaro. has anyone tried using these in a S10 chassis? Google search turned up nothing. they appear to fit close to the engine, dump out the rear, and have two bolt flanges. the truck will be used as a daily driver, and build will be as clean and simple as possible, so not really worried about squeezing everything i can out of it with long tubes or ill fitting shorties. using a 5.3 with LS6 cam/springs, LS1 intake, Corvette torque converter, 3.42 gears. nothing major, but should be loads more fun than the 98 hp 2.5L in the truck now

Yeah they should work. The nice thing about those manifolds is if you can get the chunk of pipe with the o2 bungs and just weld up the rest into a header-back system. Makes life a lot easier. IIRC those manifolds are a 2 1/4" exit

I will be interested to see if they fit. Those new cast Holley manifolds seem pretty nice as well, but im not sure if they fit the first gens like ours. Should be a fun daily! Keep us posted!
