I'm doing a carb'd fox body that'll be a track only car. Wondering what I should use. I only need an alternator and water pump for accessories.

Thanks for any info.

I used the oem truck pump with my first setup, but I now have a Moroso electric setup.
I should have got the Meziere race pump as it requires less extra plumbing, which is $$$

If you have a cowl, the cheap option is the truck pump and bracket combo, the f car setup as you can tell saves room up high and looks cleaner. I have custom brackets in my RS and truck setups on my 94 gmc, 86 TA and the 85 TA that I am working in now.

I am using the autozone replacement pump for the Corvette/Fbody which has the extra deep pulley on it to work for both applications. This helps me make the custom spacing required when using a front engine plate, which spaces the waterpump out an extra quarter of an inch. Hope this helps, Eric L

Prorac do you have a pic of this pump and how the belt rides on the pully? I have truck pump an pully but would like a cleaner setup and not have the altenator as high as my carb.

I do not have a pic. But this would probably be to short to fit on a truck alternator spacing. Its meant for the camaro/corvette spacing.
