i got a 99 trans am...spun a bearing in it last year...been down since may. i bought a 5.3 to put it in...nothin fancy right now...but it will probably get boosted one day.

thats kool i just put a Junk yard 6.0 in mine. i was going to do a boosted 5.3 but i got a good deal in the 6l. i have two 5.3s here at my house. ones getting boost going into a 240z datsun and the other is going to stay stock and im going to put it into a small pick up. I bought the HPtuners pro that way i dont have to keep getting them tuned. What year 5.3 did u buy?
