Kinda hard to tell over the Viper's exhaust.

a little surprised that vette hung in there.

Once the vette gets to 4th it pulls hard since that's it's 1:1. Good race though.

you can tell the vette was gonna come back around him if they woulda race a little longer.

Gen 3 only makes around 475rwhp/tq with those mods so its a close race. Vette is lighter, and 5th def pulls harder in the 08 corvette. Very good race, vette was coming around him for sure on the third run. Gen 4 different story. But Vipers still didnt get a good 5th till '10.

If the vipers actually full bolt ons and tune it should be minimum 480- max 510 rwhp.

Last time I checked that viper only had straight piped exhaust and a mail order tune, so probally 465ish rwhp.

Ive gotta belieave that a full bolt on and tuned 3400 pound viper at 500 rwhp would walk a full bolt on and tuned 3300 pound vette at 430 rwhp pretty easily.

Wish we could see the actual rwhp numbers and modifications.
