New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - What do they change?

Hey i was wondering why you need to send your computer off or have it dyno tuned when you get headers and ory put on your car. What do they change when you add these parts. I know they delete the rear o2s but what else is NECESSARY. Thanks.

a few tables have to be changed to compensate for increased air exiting the motor. to get the most out of it anyway.

so it will still run fine without the changes just wont be as performance as it could be?

The bottom line here is if you want to get the most out putting them on, your gonna need the tune. No, it isn't necessary but what is the point in getting them if you aren't going to use them to their full potential.

Unless your planning on a cam, intake and/or heads in the near future then get it tuned now.

I had it hp tuned after i had it done and it runs like crap now so im trying to figure it out
