First, hello all, some great rides on here and alot has changed since i was last on here.

Well sold my 04 modded GTO and got into a 14k mile WS6 again. Absolutly love it. Loved the GTO, but something about it just didnt feel sports car to me. But did love it.

Just got a 02 WS6 silver, 6spd. I Love it as well, just wish it would stop raining here, so i could drive it. Well once i find some tires and rims. (has slicks)

Thanks for you time

Attached a pic of both my GTO and WS6.

I know how you feel. I've had (2) 2005 GTO's that were smokin' but for some odd reason I love my 2001 WS6 and 2000 Camaro SS more. I think I like the exteriors of the F-bodies more but the interiors on the GTOs are better...

Yeah, i think so, GTO had some mods as well. It was no slouch, it was just an auto, and i hate automatics. and thanks

100% agree, the interior of the GTO was stunning, not really looks, but comfortable and just nicer. No plastic all over. For the body, yeah i got the Nice loud Grand Prix comment couple times. ha ha .. Like you said its just something about the F-bodies. ITs that commercial that got me for the WS6. lol red light eating a lambo. ha ha

thanks for the warm welcomes.

I had a GTO for a short while, after having a WS6, and for sure, I'd choose the WS6 over the GTO. On the outside I could quickly turn my head to the GTO... but once forced into the driver seat I'm rather happy... but that happiness ends when I have to get back out of the car and see the outside again. The WS6 is fun inside and out.

Nice trade!

Some people seem super focused on interiors and ride comfort. I don't know what it must be like to be one of these people, because I'm just not so sensitive in those areas. I've been driving 4th gens for 13 years and, for a performance/muscle car, I have zero issues with their ride comfort or interior design (then again, I also feel right at home in my '71, which most people would probably say drives like a forklift). I've been in and driven a few GTOs, they were nice but nothing that left me with any interest in owning one....I guess because I don't care very much about luxury and don't get overly excited about interiors.

But at least the GTO was silver and an auto. I hate manuals, and I love silver, so it had some positives too. :)

True, i love styling on both, the GTO should of kept the Holden styling, bumpers, etc. and id still have it, maybe. I like them both, just always loved Trans am, since ever. And you cant take the tops off on a GTO. Thats the best part i like about the trans am.

Good looking Trans!!

Enjoy!
Thanks.

Thanks, i enjoy your ride as well. Very unique. I like the out of norm about it.

Thanks, kind of miss the GTO now, but time to move on. Only put 10k miles on it in 4 years.

Ive never really been a interior person either, if its nice, eh ok, im more of is it loud and rumbles and obnoxious. Then i love it. Its a sportscar, so i want it to ride like a go kart. ha ha ..But the GTO interior was nice, much nicer than the trans am. Especially for a GM product, not all plastic. Now for a luxury car, yea, i love some of them, but give me my rattles and bumps, etc. Makes me feel right at home. I wouldnt know how to act in a luxury car.

Honestly, the only thing that got me wanting the GTO was when i started it, and it was very loud, and was cammed, then i got in and drove it. That was it after that. But just had to get back into a WS6 again.

Yep, silver and auto, some people didnt even notice i changed cars. ha ha. shows how much of a car person they are. and ha ha. you dont like manuals, i dont like autos. lol. ( well in traffic i love autos) Ive had all colors almost of the Trans am, i had always wanted a 6spd silver trans am, took awhile, but found one. THey must be rare. im not sure on that though.

thanks for all the replies.
