I have had a 3 sbc powered s10's in the past but going do this one 5.3 fuel injected powered. Would like to be able to drive it every now in again and or take it to the track and have alittle fun My other truck went 12.00-11.70 on pump gas and NA SBC powered, would like to do that if not better. I have no problem using the bottle either 125-150 shot im fine with.
I got the s10 89 standard cab with th350 trans 3500 stall convertor,8.8 rear with 3.73 gear 07 5.3 complete motor and 1 7/8 long tubes.
I have most the fuel system minus fuel pump and injectors. Not sure if i should use A1000 external pump or any ideas on a better external or cheap pump setup have all 6an brained lines. Also not sure if i shoudl keep truck intake and injectors or use fbody intake
Let me know what you think of my idea for the motor,stock 5.3 with Z06 cam and matching springs ported oil pump and double roller chain,LS1 style intake I would love to go high 11's to 12.0-12.20 on motor and deep into 11's on spray
Going use current performance wiring harness.
