Gen 5 Camaro Racing Tech, Results - First pass on 429... problems and still 10s.

Here, this is my first pass off the highway today. Banged the 2-3 limiter twice due to bad shift setting in trans, lazy footbrake launch feeling out the track (has a transbrake), converter still not set to lockup, ran 10.87 @ 127.9.

Lolol. I ran again with a harder launch, picked up 2 tenths in the 1/8, hit the brakes hard, still ran 11.41 @ 80 mph, and got sent home. Car's gonna be quick... then will throw the nitrous at it.

What power are you making with the motor?

It makes around 580 on motor right now, but it needs more dyno time. There's still a few more ponies to be had there with more timing and a leaner AFR

Nice mine should make at least 630 rwhp plus mines in a 3350 lb f body it should run a little quicker maybe low 10's???

Is the car street driven or do you trailer it? If you trailer it you may as well cage it so you are tech leagal at the track.
