Paint & Body Work - green ws6...risen from the ashes

first off id like to thank joe & ernest at levries custom paint & body in weatherford tx. these guys did an outstanding job repairing & customizing my ride. they do great work and are not scared to tackle any project. they even took the time & re-sprayed the entire car just to freshen it up and fix the little blemishes from 3 yrs of wear n' tear. i was so happy with their work that i am now repping them + they will be modding & re-painting my mkiv supra. if you are near the area and need a good shop, pm me & i'll put you in touch with them.

i decided to take a negative situation and turn into something positive. also bought a new mecham hood + wings west front & side skirt lip kit to separate myself from another guy who painted his t/a the same color. he not only painted it the same color but even got the same vette wheels after seeing some pics of my bird.

glad you got it fixed, not a big fan of the hood though imo but the color definitely overcomes it.

love the color and even the body kit, but the ws6 hood looked better imo.

Man I LOVE that color, but I think the hood and lip ruined it, at least for me. The best thing you could have done for that car would have been to buy some nice quality wheels. That color is "too exotic" for basic Z06 wheels. The top of the Mecham hoods look cool, but where the front meets the bumper on those things is FUGLY. My two cents.

car looks awesome! I'm still not to sure about the hood, but if you like it, that's all that matters. The front clip looks good, only thing I would've done is mold it so it cleans up the lines a little (that's what I'm doing when I get mine repainted)

I know it can be done too. I have contacted a few vendors on this site as well as a few local body shops and no one seems to have the courage. If I thought I had the skill I'd start making them.

All the way up here in Ohio and he probably wouldn't want to ship stuff due to risk of damages. Any custom stuff he's done has been local. What I've seen has all been metal work too, not sure if he's into custom fiberglassing or not.

dude that car is sick and the color for sure is #1 on my list since i was young. i had a lifted clubcar golfcart that i had painted almost perfect match of the new camaros but this was about 9 years ago before that color was a hit. i dont remember the name but my step dad is a big head in nucar so he brought the house of kolor book home full of colors..ill have to dig the pics of it out and post them..is your car alittle lighter then before? reguardless its nice as crap man good choice i would do mine but cost way to much. and i have a camaro floating around here almost like that with the ss cowl pailed blk

thx man, i wouldnt say the cars is lighter, but that is brighter. its the same color green but orig paint was done 3-4 years ago in a single stage paint. the guys at levries didnt think it would look good unless they re-did the entire car in a 3 stage. they didnt want it out on the streets unless it looked right. and again, i thank them for it.

I dont drive with it on... I have had a cop knock on my door at 3am asking wtf it was.. we were up partying and he saw us in the window so he stopped.. He was a NRH cop and was cool as hell... haha He thought it was on fire cause it was shining off the garage door so he "investigated"...

I spun a bearing the last night we were out at Fudds... right after we met.. run a Holden on 820 on the way home and spun bearing.. Got a nice LQ9 in my garage for it right now... Some of the local guys that were out with us that night are going to come and were doing a swap party.. haha. Lookin for a cam right now... Plus need to have my new converter restalled...

Im gathering parts now to do cam, suspension drop, new gaskets and seals and clean up/paint the engine bay... I also have to realign the hood and fenders... Itll be a few weeks at least.... If I need anything, Ill be sure to let you guys know... I always come here first..

i think the miro 111s in gloss black would look sick on this color green for sure

If your looking at new wheels I would try and find a set of these, they would go awesome with that color, also I would do that CETA mod I see some of these cars have.

I'm not much for the front lip myself, i've been looking for or considering a mod either custom made or based off 1 of those lips that removes the center section of the lip so you only get the flare out starting where the stock bumper does its drop down that rolls back in. did this real quick with paint to show what I was talking about.

Love it with the Wings West lip kit and Mecham hood. IMO this color was way to loud to have been on a stock body. Looks great!
