So finished the fuel system upgrades today, -8 feed, fast rails, stock feed as return, and a1000 brfpr. I might have found the issue but Im away from the car and need some assurance that this was the problem. When I first started the car after the install fuel pressure was at 65 and couldn't get it to drop by backing out the screw... Drove the car around and as soon as it got to 155kpa each pull it fell on its face and afr went through the roof. I'm running the aero 340lph btw. I added 25% to the Ve from that point up and nothing changed. Then I remembered the pressure being so high. Started researching and it looks as if the vac. Hose shouldnt be connected when trying to set pressure?? I had it connected.... Could this be the problem?

Yes, disconnect the vacuum hose when setting the regulator at idol.

If you can't get the fp to adjust at least 5 psi lower than desired, look at the return line and how it's hooked to the tank.[Line off and plugged, engine running.]
Tune has to have the inj constant set to the same values at all points with a referenced reg.

"thru the roof"???

I spoke with Aeormotive today, since i'm running the return through the factory feed line because it was larger than the factory return, the fuel filter is definitly an issue... I should have just ran some rubber hose to check if that fixed it but it never occured to me. I think i might have found the culprit.

But i was @ 50% throttle and it went from mid 11's afr to 17:1 in a millisecond before i could even react. Sounded like a bomb went off under the hood since the exhaust exits at the front passenger tire. Scared the shit out of me so i parked it, it didn't have any knock or anything out of the ordinary, ive got 80lb injectors and they were in the 70% range so lack of fuel pressure had to be the issue... I'll fix these things mentioned above next weekend when i get back to the car and i'll see what it does, if it still does it i'll throw this walboro in that i have laying around.
