Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - Pics with question

I just got this TA. Mine is in the foreground, my friend's TA is in the back. I have a couple questions. 1) Can anyone tell me what kind of rims those are on my car and 2) Does my hood look different than his or is it just the angle?

1. Those appear to be C6 corvette rims
2. It is very hard to tell if the hoods are the same from that picture. If they don't look the same, one (or both) could be an aftermarket hood.

Those wheels are C6 vette wheels and your hood appears to be aftermarket.....check your RPO codes to see if WS6 is among them

Thanks guys. I checked the codes, no WS6. Ended up with the Y-eighty something for Trans Am.

I didn't notice the hoods till after the picture was taken, but i do remember for a split sec when I sat down in his that the sight clearance was better but I chalked it up to seat position. The nostrils look like different shapes in this pick.

I'm going to measure it to see. I believe a stock hood is 3"? Is that measured at the windshield side?

Looks like an aftermarket hood to me..if it has additional nonfunctional vents on the sides it's possible that it's an aftermarket WS9 hood but not sure if it's just the angle or the hood itself in your case I agree with 01formulaTA check your RPOs
