Midwestern Members - Ohio Performance Car Show

Hello Everyone I will be Hosting the First ever performance cat meet in Boardman OH I would like to have 300 Performance Cars at this show I have a hugh lot and looking forward to seeing everyone here all Performance cars are welcome to be at this meet. I would like to pin point this out that there will be a Zero Tolerance for screwing (burnouts Racing on the lot) i would love to keep this show awesome and fun

^u must be kidding, weekends value city parking lot there's atleast 30 cars and ppl race on 680 all night, lot of cars cruise 224 too

Boardman is close enough. Will check with the group & see if they're wanting to cruise on down.

Sorry, for the double post. I don't see any info. regarding the meet in the link. Just add location, date & time to your thread above. It's much more convenient than searching through links.

The op is a buddy of mine; he got banned for "spamming". He is trying to get an idea of how many people would be able to show up before he calls the owners of a few places for permission to use their lot (friends of his). No point in making a date/location if nobody is going to show. And the more people that come the bigger lot we will need and so on. I have nothing to do with the show; this is his baby. I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on because he can't... being banned and all.

Not bullshit. If enough people say they would like to come, say at least 20 or so. Then he will put it on. But he doesn't want people driving out from toledo or further to show up and only be like 5 people. That would be a dick move and not worth their drive. I only say this because people from all over said they would make the trip for a nice meet when he came up with the idea in another thread.

Holy crap i just checked the map. Theres something finally going on within at least 50 miles of where im at.

It would be nice if it happens. See some other cars and meet their owners. Maybe get some ideas that I have not thought of for mine.

It would help if this was for a good cause. And i feel like this should be for more than just fbodies. If you want 300 cars that is. There isnt even 300 good looking cars in my area. But ill go if theres at least 20. Pm me the info.

my friend has an ls1 fox. ill try to get him to cruise out. hopefully its a good turnout if this happens. i think once there is a set date and if ppl msg the guy running it with an rsvp kind of thing it would be more organized and more likely ppl will go.

i think youll find that ppl at least need to know a date, and location because ppl plan things for their summer. i could say ill be there, but, if i have a group meeting id have to bail on ya. just a heads up to ya.

Well it seems we have about 15 people that are at least interested. Let's just say it will be a Saturday in June at Shepherd self storage (7469 South Ave. Youngstown, OH). That is just a guess though. For those who don't know where Boardman is it's right outside of Youngstown by the PA border. It's about an hour northwest of Pittsburgh and 1.5 hours southeast of Cleveland. Let's keep the head count going for a little bit then we will make the time/date official. And like stated by a few of you, once we do that we can start trying to get the word out and likely get a better/bigger response.

That's another possibility. We could just all meet up at the chilli's show by the mall. They have those every Saturday in the summer. I'm not sure when exactly they start for the year and we would have to pick which day the most people can make it. I personally think it would be cool to have our own show (with everyone else welcome) but that would really simplify this big time. What does everybody think? Meet at an established show, or keep going for our own? If we go for our own the worst thing that could happen is not all the people that said they would show up end up coming out. And then we can just drive down the street to the chilli's show.

there's also the Quaker Steak & Lube in Austintown at Exit 223 off I80. They have a large lot,the semi-annual Camaro vs Mustang event is held there in June between the Northeastern Ohio Camaro Club and Mahoning Valley Mustang Club.

they have there Sun its nice but the space is horiable there.. there is also Lowville Ohio they shut down a street every monday.. but once again people there arn't the nicest kinda cocky :sack:

yes there was but. the people from Valley Crusier got pissed off at shepards because some people showed up at like noon to get a good spot and then come back at 5 it was kinda stupid.. from what i heard they are not even going to have it at Chill's anymore. and sry for the spelling on my phone and i am still on a restrected they dont let me edit and i can't change it when i get home not till the 26th

June 23 is still over 2 months away,too far away in time to commit. I'm interested,but have to wait to see what's gonna be occurring in June.

Maybe I can have my car back on the road by then also.
