The LS3 should make for a nice driving car. The 102 would be better for an all out race car or for bigger motors. The ported 102 costs a bit more but would be worth it for the extra gains once your combo is maxed out .

102s aren't making really that much more hp than ported LS3 intakes.. I can't imagine it being worth it, cost wise. If money is no object then you will squeeze a few more out with the 102.

agreed i made 562/524 at 7,200 RPM to the wheel through a M6, 12-bolt and a non ported L76 Manifold with a TSP PTM 92mm.

if your gonna build a 427+ cube later on like myself then i can honestly say that it's not worth the time or the money your gonna spend port matching and stuff... Just do a plate kit with a decent shot an call it a day. Lol

It depends on who you talk to. The 102 is really my only option for an upgrade. My cam is ground for the longer runners of the composite type manifolds. I don't want to cut the cowl, buy a hood and or space the k-member for the hi rise type manifolds. So...

Mamo stated that his manifolds are worth it but only on max effort builds. We shall see in the next few months. There have been some nice gains with his and VA speeds 102's.
