I have an 02 ws6 and was wanting to do a stock manifold(for right now) into a ORY with loundmouth 1 out the back and was wanting to know if backpressure is an issue with running no cats. I do realize that this has been answered alot. But there is yes and no answers. Thanks for any help

No need for back pressure and you will be fine with no cats been running no cats for years.

Yup, not needed. I'm running the stock manifolds, O/R Y and a Magnaflow Catback, no issues. Your car will sound a lot better and you will pick up a little power as well.

(1) You don't want backpressure

(2) You're still going to have plenty. With ORY and the
SLP CME exhaust, I had enough backpressure at the
top end to blow an O2 sensor out of the hole. Sure,
the threads were a bit loose. But able to hold at
least 20-30 lb-ft of torque before feeling any yield.
That's some substantial backpressure from what's
pretty much a bare pipe setup.
