Generation IV External Engine - help will a ls1 alt on a ls3 bracket?

I am swaping a ls3 in to a ls1 f body. I know the ls3 has a different offset so i will need a different braket. Will a ls1 altenator bolt onto a ls3 altenator bracket and bolt to the ls3 and wil the ls3 belts work with that?
